About the Role

We're KCG, a veteran-owned, non-union commercial HVAC shop in Moonachie, NJ. We've been at it for 35+ years. We service commercial, industrial, and municipal buildings across northern and central NJ: offices, schools, labs, retail, and town facilities. We're growing and need a commercial service tech. Pay: $35-45/hr, based on experience Schedule: M-F, 8-hr shifts, rotating weekends, year-round work The work: RTUs, splits, thru-the-wall units, furnaces, boilers. You'll diagnose, repair, do PMs, and handle equipment changeouts from removal to start-up. We recommend what's actually needed, and we don't upsell. You've got: - 3+ years in HVAC (commercial strongly preferred) - EPA cert (required), valid driver's license - Solid electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, plus brazing, piping, boilers, and gas controls - Bonus: BMS/BAS, DDC, or pneumatics. Refrigeration or chiller experience helps too. You get: company truck, fuel card, tools, uniform, and tablet.
